Things to do in Guildford

Guildford is one of the oldest towns in Western Australia, founded in 1829, and it has kept more of its heritage streetscape than anywhere else in Perth. It’s known for its antique shops, its historic pubs and the four free self-guided heritage walks that start near Stirling Square.

I’d call it the natural first stop on a Swan Valley day out: the visitor centre is in the old courthouse, and the wineries start a few minutes up the road. The Guildford Twilight Market runs over summer.
