Things to do in Scarborough

Scarborough is Perth’s liveliest beach. Since the foreshore was redeveloped it has a heated outdoor pool right on the sand, a skate park, a huge playground with a dinosaur theme, and a strip of bars and cafes looking straight out at the surf.

The Scarborough Sunset Markets on Thursday evenings over summer are the pick of the week in my opinion, and the surf is some of the most reliable on the metro coast. Swim between the flags, because the waves are bigger here than at Cottesloe.
