Street food, live music and local makers on warm summer evenings. Here's my guide to Perth's best twilight and night markets for 2026/27.
Warm nights, great food
As the days get longer, Perth’s twilight markets come alive. They’re one of my favourite ways to spend a summer evening: free to wander, full of great food, and usually with live music.
Here’s my guide to the best twilight and night markets in Perth this summer.
“A Friday night at the markets is the perfect start to the weekend. I like to do a lap first, then come back for whatever smelled the best.”

Held in Stirling Square, right next to Guildford train station, this market is set under beautiful old sugar gums. It has local artisans, food vendors, live entertainment and kids’ activities. Check the organiser’s Facebook page for upcoming dates.
Joondalup Night Market and Christmas Markets
The Joondalup Night Market runs in the Joondalup City Centre with food trucks, artisan stalls and live music. From 28 November, its Christmas markets run on Saturdays, which are perfect for finding a unique gift.

While not a night market, the historic Fremantle Markets in Fremantle are a must for Christmas shopping, with more than 150 stalls under one roof. Check their website for opening hours over the holidays.
Prefer a morning market?
If you’re an early riser, the Victoria Park Farmers Market in John MacMillan Park is a great Saturday morning option, with fresh local produce, coffee and breakfast stalls.

Market tips
