Albany Highway through Victoria Park is Perth's most varied cheap eats strip, with pho, dumplings, curries, burgers and more. Here's how I tackle it.
A whole world of food on one road
If I’m hungry, short on cash and can’t decide what I feel like, I head to Albany Highway in Victoria Park. The strip running through Vic Park and East Victoria Park is one of Perth’s best spots for cheap eats, with dozens of small, family-run restaurants side by side.
In a few blocks, you can find Vietnamese pho, Chinese dumplings, Malaysian hawker dishes, Indian curries, Japanese ramen, Mexican tacos and some very good burgers.
