Things to do in Hillarys

Hillarys Boat Harbour is one of the easiest full days out in Perth, especially with kids. The sheltered beach inside the marina has calm, shallow water, and within a few minutes’ walk there’s AQWA, the Aquarium of Western Australia, a summer aqua park, playgrounds and a boardwalk lined with places to eat.

It’s also the northern departure point for the Rottnest ferry. I like it for fish and chips on the boardwalk at the end of a beach day.
